i'm back. yay

woots!
ok, i'm back from CHINA! and surprisingly, i didn't get sick or get diarrhoea. hee! it's quite unbelievable right right? my mum, sis and dad are all sick now except me me me! =)

yes, so china was cold ( maybe not as cold as Hokkaido but almost there.) and this is the first time me feeling my toes and hands get so cold that i thought it would just drop off. i couldn't even feel my toes despite my wearing 2 very thick woolen socks plus my plastic-y shoes! But i was comforted by the fact that our tour guide (the china one) told us that she couldn't feel her toes too! hee! Oh and we saw snow there! we were lucky as it snowed on the 2nd day there and so for the rest of the days spent there, we could see snow everywhere! oh oh oh and at chengde right, the whole river froze up and the locals made it into a huge ice skating ring there. for a moment, i wished that i knew how to ice skate. anyway, i am really amazed at china. i mean, some parts of it are so run down and under developed but in Beijing, it's quite quite developed and commercialized. yes, i think it's because of the Olympics too. oh, i have yet to speak about the toilet. it's quited clean generally but there was one somewhere in the mountains, haha, there was only a drain going through the cubicles. that's it. and what doors! it practically didn't cover anything. when you stand up, you an look over the door and partition and when you squat, you can see the other side of the door. hur hur. what door is that. and there was no flush. no water for you to even splash into the drain. the locals there would do it at the END of the day. omg! i almost fainted when i heard that. !@#^*$%#~ whatever.

There is actually alot of things that happened in china. But the best thing that occurred was me being in this tour group. The driver, china tour guide, singapore tour guide and the families that when on the same trip really made the trip very enjoyable. =) for the first time, the driver had to sing for his passengers. ( everyone on the bus had to sing at least a song before the end of the day.) hee. i really think it's this type of trips that make you yearn for more. Oh yes, i think that my Chinese have just improved by leaps and bounds since i had been speaking in Mandarin for the past 2 weeks? (including me preparing for the trip! haha) yep yep!

You know what? Ever since i've been back, i've been sleeping alot. it's like i'm hibernating! haha. that's why i must find things to do if not i'll really just sleep. Can you imagine it, i spent my whole afternoon trying all my clothes today. hur hur. i took a whole afternoon. haha. but it was fun! mix and match.
Just yesterday, i went out to have dinner with the girls! =) ok and shaun. hah! i miss them and i'm a lil jealous of the juniors but it's ok now. i've got my fair share of fun in this batch =) [rem mr goh? haha. how we always gave him names. from don't know what to the eventual superman!] haha. lurve you girls. =)=)=)

yea. now it's 5 more days to Christmas, 4 days to play freedom, 3 days to the big day, 2 days to BBQ, 1 day (erm no, it's 3 minutes now) to chalet! woots. =)

And ... ..... ...... ..... .... ...... ...... .... i have REGISTERED for driving lessons!in one year's time, i'll be sitting on the driver's seat, gliding my hands over the steering wheel, honking at people who blocks my way on the road. muahaha. yea. so exciting! let's hope that i can make it on my first attempt! (including all the theory tests!) yea yea yea.

k. i'll be back to post again some days later. i guess it'll be weeks later which means maybe it'll be next year! *gasp* so fast!
we'll all have to look for jobs soon....and canoeing girls, we're planning to go on a short trip in April or may next year so keep yourself free k! =)

PS, sop if you're reading this, date me out! i know you're back. and i won't be going for the class gathering. sorry! i'll be at chalet unless you want to look for me there, i don't mind!

hello hello! i am back in civilisation after staying at clarke quay for one night! i stayed over with my beloved team mates! woots! haha. it really felt as if we were not in singapore. =)



well, prom was fine. meeting all our friends and crazily taking pictures with everyone. i really pity the emcees of the night. we were all not cooperative and thus they had to use the most dramatic way to get everyone seated so that they could start with the program---by switching off the lights in the ball room. i must admit that it was quite an effective and clever way of getting people's attention (maybe i could use it for the sec sch prom too!) yeah. anyway, i thought that the best performance of the night was the AC dancers' item. it was so full of energy, so entertaining and nice =) for the other performances, i didn't really watch them as i was busy going around looking for friends. haha. tsk tsk. it was so hard trying to locate people! well, so that's about it for the actual prom? i guess? haha. i was just having fun sitting with my team mates and trying to finish or at least take a bite of my food before it gets cleared away. guess what happened to my soup? it got cleared away before i could even try it! haha. anyway, everyone was looking so glamorous today! All the girls! wow! it's like a totally different side of them that i see. the guys weren't bad too. they didn't overdress (like what happened during my secondary school prom) which was good. so basically, everyone was nicely dressed and trying to look demure or macho. =)



oh and as the dinner was ending, we sang the school song. this would be the last time we're singing it and well, everyone sang it, loudly, with pride. it's quite heart warming, i must say. =)
aye. ok, what was really really nice was the post prom party i guess. i have never been to this type of places before so this is my first time. i didn't really drink but still had to pay. haha. well, i didn't relaly like the drinks anyway. bleahk! anyway, some people really got drunk there and it was quite scary. after partying until 2 plus (or was it 3 plus in the morning) then we left the place. we girls didn't want to go back to our hotel yet so we decided to walk around the place. haha. as we walked aimlessly around, we all did weird things and tried to take pictures with rui's camera since she didn't want to waste her full batt!!!! my 2 batt died on me before post prom! so sad. i felt so lost without my beloved camera. haha. oh and on the way to 7 eleven to buy ice cream, i met the NJ people. jia mei, cindy and wei jun. so coincidental! but i have got no idea why they were walking from that direction. hmmm...ok so after washing up, all 6 of us went out again after attempting to wake samme up. it's hilarious how we tried to wake her up but well, i shan't leak out the juicy parts of the story! so i basically went to the central to sleep while the rest went there to watch the sun rise. i have got no idea whether the sun rise was nice or what coz i was really sound asleep. when i woke up, it was one hour from the time we sat there. and the sky was how bright when i woke up! as we headed back to the hotel again, i did something so incredible!
I SLEPT IN THE LIFT WHILE WAITING FOR IT TO REACH THE 16TH FLOOR!!!!
can you believe that! wow. ha! i could have laughed at myself but i was too tired. i was at a chalet the night before, pre-celebrating my sister's birthday. tsk tsk. so i was really really tired. please excuse me. ha! after that some people just left without saying a thing. so when i next woke up, rui was there with me, gy and samme sleeping on the beds. haha. i wonder what happened.... Nevermind. i had a great night! =) especially having spent the night with these lovely girls =)=)=) awwwwwwwwwwww..........

okok! so when i reached home, i really can't remember what i did. maybe i slept again, i don't know but i know that when i went for meeting that night, everyone was asking,'' eh, you had prom last night is it?''
haha. they said that my eyes were red and my hair was in a mess. i couldn't get my hair to stay down! i think it's because the hair dresser used a lot of gel the previous day and i didn't wash it all off even after bathing twice! haah. yeah. i think i really looked terrible. haha. bleah.

ok, was that a little too excited? i wonder. Anyway, i'll be so very busy from now on.

Let me reveal some of my activities...
1) My sis birthday celebration at changi chalet TODAY!
2) TOMORROW is prom for AC
3) We'll be staying over at a hotel after post prom =)
4) China trip
5) HELPING out at css prom
6) another christmas chalet
7) CSS PROM!!!! at rasa sentosa
8) CHRISTMAS!!!

ok, and in between, there are all the dates here and there. hur hur hur.with liru, sop, dhanuj, and who ever who wants to date me!~ haha

okay~ phew.
yesterday was kind of fun. i got kind of lost in 3 places. First i went to little india because there was a rehearsal for the pagent for css prom. so i was made to navigate through the shop houses and find this studio at the third floor of one of the many shop houses. haha. it was quite fun and it was my first time going to this kind of places! and guess what, i had to lead like 10 people back to the mrt station. i was quite impressed with myself for being able to get my bearings right. haha! well, it's really nice to see familiar faces and new faces at the same time. haha! man, just 2 years and my juniors are graduating already. so fast! when i was still there, they were only sec 2 kids. Note, i used the word kids coz they really were. haha

After that, i went to find ruiyan and geyi at bugis. what haji lane! nono, at first they told me it was at arab street. i went out of the mrt station at the wrong exit. hur hur hur. clever me. but well, i managed to find my way there and it was really a sense of achievement ok! it's the first time i'm there alone. hahah. i've got no idea how many times i called ruiyan to ask her where they were and how to get there but well, i was really glad to see them! haha. * giving myself a pat* haha. so, we looked at pretty random things, going into almost all the shops. and geyi was walking around without shoes. hur. that's so her right? neh, she had terrible blisters at her heels due to her shoe thus she took it off. haha.yeah. and we all went to tread our eyebrows! rui and geyi went yesterday while i went like 1 week ago. =) woots. All in preparation for the prom! Yep! oh, and i tell you, bugis is really really crowded on a saturday (wait, or is it everyday?)

yep so i went off earlier than rui and geyi to meet my family for dinner. and guess what? they left for that place before me coz i was late and my sis just gave me the address of the place! what the...i have never been there before and when i got out of the mrt station and looked at the directory, i couldn't find the road name! Thanks ah. being me, i acted as if i knew the place, just walked to the bus stop and called my papa to come and pick me up from tiong bahru plaza =)
and when i reached there, i realised why i couldn't find the road name. IT WAS SO FAR FROM THE MRT STATION AND MY SIS EXPECTED ME TO WALK ALL THE WAY THERE!!!!! ha!
ok. so yesterday was really a very very very fun day, going to all those unfamiliar places. hah. i should go on more of thesse type of trips! ahha. that way, i'll get to know singapore roads better and it'll be easier for me next time, after learning how to drive =)

ok, i've got to prepare for the chalet and prom! tata!
